Jackson Firefighter sings for Black History program

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Our Jackson firefighters are always ready to respond when needed, but one team member proved he is willing to go above and beyond his duties.  Captain Earnest Whitlock with JFD showed off his vocal talents at a local Walmart during during a black history program.  The video was posted by the Jackson Fire Department Friday night and received nearly 40,000 views by Saturday night.  Whitlock wasn’t originally on the program to perform, but stepped up at the last minute when another performer was running late.
